The 4th Commonwealth Taekwondo Championships are being held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on November 21-23, 2008. Each sport in the Commonwealth games holds its own championships every two years, in addition to the multi-sport event held every four years. These events showcase the highest level of competition in the sport, along with the World Championships, and the Olympics.


This event is sanctioned by the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF), and by Taekwondo Canada.


The organizing committee is proud to be hosting this event in Winnipeg, welcoming participation from across the 53 Commonwealth countries. This world class event is being held at the MTS Centre, a modern facility located in the heart of downtown Winnipeg.
